National AIDS Memorial Volunteer Workparty

The National AIDS Memorial Grove ("The Grove") was conceived in 1988 by a small group of San Franciscans whose community had been devastated by the AIDS epidemic.Today, volunteers continue to participate in monthly and special Community Volunteer Workdays, with a consistent average of 125 volunteers per Workday. Volunteers range from the very young to the elderly, come from all segments of the community and represent a diverse range of racial, economic, cultural, religious and other social groups.

Nature Exploration Area Volunteer Work Party
